Sergio, your writings reflect your heart, and it's clear you've circumsized your heart with the words of our Father in heaven and His precious Son just as Paul wrote...
"Faith that does not act is not faith — it’s theory," Amen!!! Your words are so true!
Unfortunately, this world takes many theories and paints them as fact.
My family and I are studying Romans currently... we JUST reviewed Roman 12:1. In view of the Father's mercy, we are to offer up our bodies as living sacrifices because this is our spiritual act of worship! This doesn't mean singing with our hands in the air... it means living out your love for our Father and His Son. Faith produces works!
And we know that in all things YHWH works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
-Romans 8:28
Loose self, and live for the one who died for YOU...
The Father in Heaven, whose name is above all names, whom I exalt... the most High, has instructed us how to live and love Him. He then sent His Son, the Messiah, to SHOW us all how to do this and what it looks like to worship and love the Father in heaven.
I love how you reminded everyone Yeshua is the mediator... "No one goes to the Father except through me." -John 14:6
This world makes it extremely difficult to be set apart... the narrow path is narrow for a reason... only few find it.
Thank you, thank you for writing this! It brought a smile to my face, and as I continued reading in exhilaration... I'm so grateful for fellowship with you brother!
May the Holy Spirit keep writing on your heart, and may the good Father in heaven continue to bless you in every way!
I love how Romans comes alive when we see it through the lens of covenant and Spirit😊 Thankful for the fellowship with you, and am deeply moved when I see others studying the Scriptures and tasting the joy that’s so often missed in Western theology.
Nice to have someone that can have enough courage to call out much of Western Evangelicals. I've been blessed by your Holy Spirit led writings. Keep it coming Brother!!!
I have just started a Bible series. It stated, paraphrased, that God created Adam and Eve (and each of us) “in His image”, with the intention that they (we)would embody Him while building this world. That in His image they (we) would be salt and light. It wasn’t just a physical manifestation, but it was to be a living manifestation. Wow.
So, may I ask, how does active faith work for people who are not missionaries or pastors, but who live quiet lives in retirement?
Big question :) Read what pleases God — and do it from your heart. Things like keeping Shabbat and loving your neighbors. Many people think the things He loves have been done away with, and that’s where standing out gets a little hard. Love the question!
I am retired and spend some hours during the week in volunteer work e.g. Meals on Wheels, charity stalls at markets etc. Just do something for the common good
Such uplifting and inspiring words... This stirs up in me a fire for action in my pursuit of the God of Israel.
Thank you brother for taking the time to write these posts, they read like Hebrew poetry for our generation. I truly thank God for you and pray His riches blessings be upon you and your loved ones.
Thank you so much for this article. I've often said, my faith must be very, very small. Not even as big as a mustard seed, because I haven't moved any mountains. But this explains so much more, faith isn't a belief or a feeling. It's fidelity, it's obedience in action. I love this, i do have faith as i obey my father and become more like Jesus!
HalleluYah!!!
