This is what needs to be coupled with an aggressive stance against any sin in our lives. Keeping our repentance current truly helps us walk with integrity and focus on our relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I must admit, that at 80, I have an advantage of 50 years experience living like this. But, it's all Jesus and the Holy Spirit. the idea that sin can be instantly forgiven and forgotten makes this life possible. I can testify, it's not as difficult as I once feared. Living sin-free makes integrity and openness a normal way of living—because most lacks of integrity are sin.
Thank you so much for sharing this—it really resonates with me. I completely agree that taking an aggressive stance against sin, while keeping our repentance current, is essential for walking in integrity and staying close to Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Hearing about your 50 years of living this out is incredibly encouraging. It’s amazing how you point back to Jesus and the Holy Spirit as the source of it all. Knowing that sin can be instantly forgiven and forgotten really does lift such a heavy burden.
Your testimony reminds me that living with integrity isn’t as overwhelming as I’ve sometimes feared—it’s just the natural result of staying close to Him.
