Church community is sold as the cure for loneliness, but the lobby, the stage, the lighting, and the program are a production, and a production holds you only as long as it runs. The Hebrew edah gathers people around a shared purpose, not a building. You cannot manufacture organic community. You can only become someone around whom it forms. There is one ekklesia, and no program built it.
