When the marriage is good, they're good. When the business is good, they're good. When the kids comply, they're good. That's not strength — that's dependency with a masculine face. The Hebrew word shalom is translated "peace" but means something far more demanding: completeness. Wholeness. Nothing missing, nothing broken — regardless of what's happening around you. Yeshua didn't promise favorable conditions. He promised shalom as an internal possession: "My peace I give to you — not as the world gives." The world gives peace through circumstances.
The covenant gives peace through formation.
That's what this is. A framework for men who are done outsourcing their stability to things they can't control.
