Most of us take our beds for granted. You fall into yours tonight without a second thought. That's not the case at Church on the Street.

This mission takes the worst-case situations people on the street are going through and systematically, lovingly works to change futures. It's one of the only resources in Phoenix that will take someone in — truly struggling, truly at the bottom — and give them a place to sleep and a meal to eat. No hoops. No waiting list theology. Just a bed, a plate, and a chance. With a few simple rules, those who want a new life can start building one.

This particular day was special.

Some friends up in Pinetop had it on their hearts to ask their church to help with new mattresses. They came through — over twenty brand-new, clean, comfortable twin beds to replace what was on the metal bunk stands.

The appreciation from the men at the shelter was priceless. But even more than the mattresses, it was the time spent together as a group that logged itself into the precious memories category. The kind you carry for life.

Keep in mind — every penny generated from this site goes directly to efforts like this. Not overhead. Not admin. People.

Stay tuned for more.
